Born in Valais, Patricia Von Niederhäusern — Pat Von N. — grew up in the heart of the Swiss countryside, a world that still inspires everything she creates.

Since 2007 she has been reinventing the poya, the traditional depiction of the cattle's climb to the alpine pastures, turning simple cut-wood silhouettes into genuine works of art. Her style — authentic, poetic and touched with humour — breathes new life into this Swiss heritage.

Because for Pat Von N., respecting tradition does not mean freezing it in the past, but letting it live, evolve and surprise.

A philosophy that was bound to meet ours. All that was left to do was let her cows out of the frame!
